Multiple wildfires are raging across the U.S., with many in the Southwest.  New Mexico is being slammed as five large fires are currently burning there.  The biggest is the Calf Canyon and Hermits Peak fires, which have combined into one and have charred more than 63-thousand acres.  It is currently 33-percent contained.  In Arizona the Tunnel Fire has burned over 19-thousand acres.  It is now over 40-percent contained, but dozens of homes have already been charred.  Major fires are also currently affecting Alaska, Florida, Nebraska, and Virginia.


It appears the world’s richest man may be using his stake in Tesla to buy Twitter.  New filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission show Elon Musk sold nearly five-billion dollars worth of shares Tuesday.  That was the day after Twitter accepted his offer.

The hurricane season could be expanded by next year.  Weather experts are discussing moving the start date up by two weeks to May 15th.  That’s because more named storms have been forming before June 1st.  But no changes are expected this year
