Ukraine is about to get the help it’s pleading for before new attacks begin. President Biden could reveal today he’s sending 750-million dollars worth of military aid.  That includes weapons with more range and distance, and equipment to protect against chemical attacks.

Crews in Texas are in for a busy day after a tornado left a trail of damage. It hit near the town of Salado ,traveling seven miles, knocking down trees and destroying homes and buildings. At least 23 people were hurt, with 12 taken to a hospital.

There’s a 50-thousand dollar reward to find the New York subway shooter.  Police know one person they’re looking for, calling Frank James a person of interest.  They released his photo hours after a gunman shot ten people during yesterday’s morning commute.

Tributes are pouring in for iconic comedian Gilbert Gottfried.  He lost his battle with a long illness at the age of 67.  He was known for his distinctive voice and 50-year career in stand-up comedy.  Fans remember him as the wisecracking parrot in Disney’s “Aladdin.”

The Penn State baseball team took a tough 8-4 loss against West Virginia on Tuesday evening at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park in a game that saw 25 combined hits between the two squads.
 

Penn State women’s lacrosse snapped a four-game skid with a 15-7 win over Pitt on Tuesday afternoon at Panzer Stadium. Taylor Regan, Kristin O’Neill and Meghan Murray netted hat tricks in the victory.

Penn State men’s lacrosse players picked up two Big Ten weekly awards Tuesday for their performance in a 9-8 overtime win over Michigan on Friday. 

Two teams are moving on to the first round of the NBA Playoffs.  The Brooklyn Nets beat the Cavaliers 115-to-108.  They now take on the Celtics.  The Minnesota Timberwolves will face the Grizzlies after beating the Clippers 109-to-104.

NHL – The Capitals over the Flyers, 9-2. The Penguins lost to the Islanders in a shootout, 5-4.

MLB – The Mets shutout the Phillies, 2-0. The Cubs over the Pirates, 2-1.
