Dozens of people have been killed and injured after two missiles struck a train station being used as an evacuation hub in the eastern city of Kramatorsk, Ukrainian officials said today. Thousands of people were at the station during the missile strike, amid the evacuation of residents from the Donetsk region to safer areas of the country, a Ukrainian military official said. This comes as Russian shelling of cities in the east and south of Ukraine persists, although Russian troops have “fully withdrawn” from northern Ukraine to Belarus and Russia,

The Senate confirmed President Joe Biden’s Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson yesterday in a historic vote that paves the way for her to become the first Black woman to serve on the highest court in the nation.

Microsoft says it disrupted Russian cyberattacks aimed at Ukraine.  The tech giant believes a hacking group connected to Russia’s military intelligence service tried to “establish long-term access” to the targets’ networks.  Officials have been tracking the group for years and say teams have been working around the clock to protect organizations in Ukraine since the invasion.

Freshman goalie Ashley Bowan achieved a season-high 13 saves as the Penn State women’s lacrosse team fell 13-6 at No. 9 Maryland on Thursday night.

The third-ranked Penn State men’s volleyball team concludes its regular season home slate with a pair of matches against St. Francis Brooklyn and NJIT Friday and Saturday, April 8-9, at Rec Hall. 

Penn State women’s tennis (8-9, 2-3 BIG) begins the weekend traveling to Bloomington, Ind. to face the Indiana Hoosiers (9-9, 2-3) on Friday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. The Nittany Lions will return home to host No. 50 Illinois (12-6, 5-1) on Sunday at 11 a.m.
