The pandemic has made us all appreciate healthcare workers just a little bit more. But not EVERY doctor is going to be a good fit for you. Here are four signs you might need to find a new physician . . .
1. You don’t feel comfortable talking to them. Your doctor needs to know lots of intimate details that you may not share with family or friends. So if you feel like you can’t disclose things to them, it may not be a good match.
2. They don’t respect your time. Like if your appointment starts an hour late, and when they DO get to you, it feels like they’re rushing you.
3. The office staff is unprofessional. Receptionists and office staff are part of the package. If you feel like they’re not polite, or they blow off your concerns, that’s a red flag.
4. They’re never available. A good doctor will be available for follow-up questions and concerns. If it takes several days for them to get back to you, or they don’t respond at all, find a new doctor.
