FDA Warns Of Family Dollar Products Exposed To Rats

The FDA says several FDA-regulated products from Family Dollar stores across the country may be unsafe to consume.

The FDA sent out the warning on Friday because a rodent infestation was found at a distribution facility in West Memphis, Arkansas. Some examples of the impacted items include human foods, cosmetics, medical devices, and medications.

And you know, the biggest issue with rats can be in their poop. Over one thousand dead rats were found at the facility.

The FDA is working with Family Dollar to issue a voluntary recall. The states impacted include Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee.
