A district attorney in Georgia is being allowed to set up a special grand jury to investigate former President Trump.  She asked for it after witnesses refused to testify without a subpoena.  She wants to know what role Trump played in trying to get the 2020 results overturned in the state.

Heavy hearts in Maryland this morning after three firefighters died in the line of duty.  They were responding to a house fire in Baltimore that collapsed.  Another first responder was critically hurt.  The governor has ordered flags to be flown at half-staff in their honor.

The Penn State women’s basketball team hosts No. 23 Iowa on Tuesday for a Big Ten matchup at the Bryce Jordan Center. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. on Big Ten Network.

Penn State women’s basketball’s home game against Michigan State on Thursday, January 27 has been changed to a 7 p.m. tipoff time. The game will be broadcast on B1G+.
