Have you ever wondered how much time you waste each day sitting in traffic? Well, someone’s done the math for you and published in the Global Traffic Scorecard for 2021. On the average this year, Americans lost 36 hours sitting in traffic. That’s a 10-hour increase from last year, but still almost half as much as before the COVID messed up our lives. Converted to dollars, that 36 hours of traffic time translates to around $536. As far as cities, New York was dubbed the most congested urban area in the United States, but that’s just fifth in the world, with London taking the top spot.
