It’s Homecoming weekend at Penn State, and that means parking and traffic changes will be in place on campus and in State College for the annual parade on Friday and Saturday’s noon game against Illinois at Beaver Stadium.

Senior Oskar Autio (Espoo, Finland) secured his fourth career shutout as Penn State defeated Niagara 4-0 in non-conference action on Thursday evening inside Pegula Ice Arena.

No. 14 Penn State women’s volleyball is set for a challenging weekend as it goes on the road to play two nationally-ranked teams from the Big Ten. The Lions will travel to play No. 12 Minnesota on Friday at 7 p.m. (ET) and play at No. 3 Wisconsin on Saturday at 7 p.m. (ET). Both matches will air live on Big Ten Network.

The No. 24 Penn State women’s soccer program fell 2-0 to (RV) Michigan on Thursday evening. The Nittany Lions conclude the regular season against Michigan State on Sunday.

Baseball fans are in for more action tonight as two teams battle it out for a trip to the World Series.  The Red Sox visit the Astros for Game Six of the ALCS.  Houston beat Boston on Wednesday to lead the series three-to-two.  In the NLCS, the Dodgers stopped the Braves from advancing last night.  Los Angeles crushed Atlanta 11-to-two, with Chris Taylor hitting three home runs.  The team is still down by one going into Game Six tomorrow.
