I’d say pretty much everyone can agree there’s a difference between dating someone and being in a relationship. But pretty much NO ONE can agree beyond that.
A new survey asked what counts as “being in a relationship” . . . and here are some of the results.
1. Been dating for a year or more . . . 84% say that means you’re in a relationship.
2. Dating for six months or more . . . 72% say that means you’re in a relationship.
3. You’ve agreed not to date other people . . . 70%.
4. You’ve both said “I love you” . . . 60%.
5. You have a drawer at their place . . . 58%.
6. You’ve changed your Facebook status to “in a relationship” . . . 40%.
7. You’ve had sex . . . 17%.
8. You’ve been on three dates . . . 8%.
9. You’ve been to their house . . . 8%.
10. You’ve been on a single date . . . 5% of people say that means you’re in a relationship.
