The Mid-Penn Conference announced yesterday that they have pushed the start date back for fall sports by a month due to schools in the conference starting at later times. The earliest start date for practice of fall sports is now September 4th.
Here is their full announcement on Twitter from yesterday.
In response to the delay of school start-ups by many school districts, the Mid Penn Conference has designated 9/4/2020 as the earliest date to begin formal fall sports practices, pending local board approvals. More information will be released after Thursday’s AD meeting.
