Drunk Shopping

A night of drinking can impact your wallet in ways you might not consider. A survey from Finder reveals nearly 25 percent of U.S. consumers admit they shop while intoxicated, and their favorite thing to buy is shoes. In fact, footwear, accessories, and apparel accounts for 36.9 percent of the total share of drunk spending, and men made 45.4 percent of those purchases. Overall, shoppers spent an average of $148.13 on fashion items while under the influence. Other stuff people bought while drunk included tech products, music, vacations, cars, and not surprisingly food took the top spot (58.3%) followed by more alcohol (51.7%.)
