Beat Your Winter Depression by . . . Not Eating Christmas Desserts?

Good news and bad news.  The good news:  Researchers have figured out a way for you to get over those WINTER BLUES that so many of us have.

The bad news:  It’s gonna take a heckuva  sacrifice.

Researchers at the University of Kansas say that you can help avoid feeling bummed out in the winter by . . . avoiding SWEETS.  And yes, that means all those Christmas cookies and other desserts you’re looking forward to are off limits.

They say the sugar in holiday desserts can lead to, quote, “metabolic, inflammatory, and neurobiological processes that are connected to depression and negative feelings.”

And when you couple all that sugar with the lack of sunlight in winter, it’s a perfect storm for depression.  (Study Finds)
