Queen Is Making a Video for ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ & You Could Be Part of It

A dream opportunity for Queen superfans: The band is inviting singers, dancers and artists of all kinds to audition for a chance to appear in a series of newly imagined music videos for several classic songs. The band’s “You Are the Champions” campaign – a collaboration with YouTube Music, Universal Music Group and Hollywood Records – will cast fans in starring roles in new, user-generated videos for “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “A Kind of Magic” and “Don’t Stop Me Now.”

For the “Bohemian Rhapsody” contest, musicians and singers are invited to submit a video playing or singing the song, either a specific section or in its entirety. The “Don’t Stop Me Now” contest asks dancers to watch an instructional video created by Polly Bennett, Rami Malek’s movement coach from “Bohemian Rhapsody,” and film themselves performing Bennett’s choreography. And visual artists can get in on the fun with the “A Kind of Magic” contest, which requires a painting, drawing or animation inspired by the song’s lyrics.
