Biggest Mistake Dieters Make? Not Drinking Enough Water

Whatever diet you’re doing you must ensure one thing: that you’re drinking enough water. Dr. Thomas Chi, a urologist, says you shouldn’t ignore your feelings of thirst. Some extreme diets tend to lead to people eating more salt, and if you’re not hydrated enough you can develop complications like kidney stones. Furthermore, thirst is easily interpreted as hunger, which can lead you to snacking when all you really need is some water. Another expert sums it up, saying, “On its own, drinking large amounts of water will not be enough to bring about substantial weight loss. But it does help when included in a regimen of nutrition that accounts for a healthy distribution of macro-nutrients and a diverse consumption of food groups.”
