It’s hard to stay grounded when you’re a BILLIONAIRE… and PAUL MCCARTNEY is no exception.
His biographer Barry Miles says that just a few years ago, Paul sent a roadie out for a bottle of Whiskey . . . and gave him about $2.50 to pay for it. The roadie had to tell Paul the price had gone up a bit since the last time he had to buy his own booze.
Miles says, quote, “He desperately wanted to be a normal person . . . and was very anxious to stay in touch with what he regarded as ordinary people.
“[But] in the end, you can’t be normal. You can’t be that famous for that many years and still be in touch with ordinary people.
