High School in Nebraska Sells Pink Pumpkins for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Cool, quick story I found this week. Remember, Early detection is the key to surviving Breast Cancer. Big Froggy 101-1 is teaming up with local businesses like Molly Maid to raise awareness and support those affected by this disease.

Students at Norris High School, in Lincoln, Nebraska, are selling pink pumpkins to raise awareness of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Pink Pumpkin Patch Foundation gave students seeds before they planted them and grew big pink pumpkins. Students are now selling the pumpkins to raise money for the foundation. The Pink Pumpkin Patch Foundation has raised $95,000 for breast cancer research since 2012.
