Study: Netflix Is Killing Your Sex Life

It turns out all that time you spend watching Netflix is having an impact on your sex life, and not in the ‘Netflix and chill’ way you might expect. A new study from researches at Lancaster University in the U.K. analyzed evidence from nearly 400 devices to show that peak electricity usage is now much later than it used to be (specifically between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m.) thanks to streaming services like Netflix, YouTube, and others. It’s believed the findings could support a theory from University of Cambridge Professor David Spiegelhalter, who says couples are less interested in sex because they are watching TV in bed. He goes as far as predicting that by the year 2030, couples will not have sex at all.
