Your phone likely goes pretty much everywhere with you, which means it’s probably covered in a lot of germs. So how should you clean it, and just how often? The best way, Time reports, is with a soft microfiber cloth, or you can wipe the screen with a combination of 60 percent rubbing alcohol and 40 percent water. If you go with the latter method, be sure to dip a paper towel or cloth in the liquid mixture and then run it lightly over the surface of the screen. If you’re healthy, cleaning your phone about once a month should be good, but if you’re sick, you’ll want to wipe it down more often to stay healthy.
