Penn State in Fiesta Bowl Versus Washington

The Penn State Nittany Lions are heading to Arizona for New Years.

After finishing the season 10-2, the Nittany Lions will play Washington in the Fiesta Bowl in a Big 10-PAC 12 match up. Washington finished their season at 10-2 as well, 2nd in the PAC 12 North. This comes on the heels of the Big 10 being shut out of the College Football playoff for the first time in the history of the 4 team playoff. Clemson, Oklahoma, Georgia and Alabama are the top four teams that will play for the National Championship this season.

Additionally, Ricky Rhane will serve as the offensive coordinator for the Fiesta Bowl, as he was promoted this week when Joe Moorhead accepted the head coaching job at Mississippi State.
