Try A “Walk-and-Talk” Meeting

Here’s one way to make your work life less sedentary: Try a “walk-and-talk meeting.” Steve Jobs, the late Apple founder, was famous for dragging people out of the office for walking meetings. Aaron Sorkin built whole series around it. Now, it’s being prescribed by Britain’s public health department as a cure for chronic inactivity in the office. “Go out for a walk, get some fresh air for a meeting,” the agency’s chief executive says. Experts say that walking meetings encourage creative thinking. (TheGuardian)
