7% of Americans Wouldn’t Travel Abroad… Even If It Was Free

Most of us would jump at the chance to take a free, all-expenses paid trip to anywhere in the world.  But apparently some of us just can’t be bothered. These people are not fun.

A new survey asked people where they’d go if money wasn’t a factor, and the whole trip was free.

And 7% said they wouldn’t travel abroad no matter WHAT.  That’s about 1 in 14 people.

For everyone else, the top five destinations were Italy, Australia, France, the U.K., and Ireland.  Which are all pretty safe picks, especially since 3 of the 5 are English-speaking countries . . . but still a lot less boring than sitting at home watching Netflix the rest of your life LOOKING at far-away destinations.

“Travel is fatal to prejudice…” – Mark Twain

The top five STATES we’d visit are Hawaii, Florida, California, Alaska, and Colorado.

Hawaii was the top choice for women.  Florida was the top choice for men.  (At least when there’s not a massive HURRICANE on the way.)
