Study: To Remember, Keep Practicing

If you really want to lock in a new skill, you’ll have to keep on practicing it. Brown University scientists conducted several experiments and found that participants who over-learned things were more likely to remember their first round of training, but then found it difficult to remember their second set. When participants had more time between the two training sessions they were more likely to learn the two tasks without interference. Researchers say if you want to learn something very important, over-learning it might be a good way to go. (Daily Mail
