Yahoo Excuses

There was another hack.  This time, Yahoo was the victim.  Here’s how their PR flacks are spinning it:

 

  • “Our customers’ personal information is so good we just had to share”

  • “What’s the difference? Our company’s going down the tubes anyway”

  •  “We’re Yahoo! Our customers expect us to suck”

  • “What’s data?”

  • “Why are you still using Yahoo email?”

  • “It’s not like your  “1-2-3-4” password was really throwing people off”

  • “We figured hackers didn’t know we still existed”

  • “Maybe this will finally motivate people to log off and go outside”

  • “Hey, your personal information isn’t so great. Get over yourself!”
