Wow…as nice as it is to be back on the air, I’d much rather still be on the beach…no offense to any of you.
If you want to go to a beach, but don’t want to put up with crashing waves and zillions of people, may I suggest a Bay…specifically, the Delaware Bay. The waves are small (good for toddlers), there are less people (we only had 3 families other than ourselves on our stretch of beach), and the sun was every bit as warm and wonderful as it would have been at a crowded beach.
My new favorite thing to do on vacation is to put my chair in the water and sit there until the level reaches my neck. A 3 hour bath, if you will. I cannot tell you how relaxing that was.
Pokeman Go is destroying the world. I tried to cross two lanes of traffic to get into a McDonald’s, only to find a young woman blocking the entrance because she was trying to catch Pokeman (Men?). When I beeped my horn to get her attention because I didn’t want to be hit by on-coming cars, SHE gave ME a dirty look and moved on. It’s the end of the world as we know it.
The Spikes are a pretty talented team this season. If you haven’t made it out to the ball yard yet, you should.
