Study: Women Are More Likely To Be Stressed Out Than Men

Being stressed out is not great for your health, and a new study reveals that women are more likely to experience stress than men are. Cambridge University researchers reviewed 48 studies that looked at stress and anxiety levels of people around the world. They discovered that women were 1.9 times as likely to suffer with stress as men, and that both men and women are at peak risk for stress at the age of 35. It’s thought women are more likely to be stressed than men because they have to juggle work, family, and children which leads to mental burn-out. The scientists found that people from Western Europe and North America were much more likely to suffer with stress and anxiety compared to those from the developing world. (Daily Mail
