93.7 The Bus and Jeff Brown Help by Putting Money in their Music – September 7, 2017

State College, PA – On Thursday September 7th, 93.7 The Bus morning host Jeff Brown raised over three thousand dollars for Hurricane Harvey Flood Relief. The 12-Hour Request-A-Thon began at 6am with listeners calling into the 93.7 The Bus studio request line to pledge a minimum of ten dollars to hear a song request, played on the air.

“I’m not surprised by the response. Central Pennsylvania listeners have always stepped up to help when there’s a need” according to Brown, who remained on the air the entire twelve hours.

All dollars pledged from the Request-a-Thon were processed through the Centre County United Way with proceeds going directly to the hurricane relief fund established by the Mayor of Houston through the Greater Houston Community Foundation.
